The definitive HTPC case

I’m one of those that prefer the HTPC to be small and slim. It should feature enough power and no more. Transcoding can be done elsewhere. Massive storage can be housed elsewhere. In the livingroom I want a single slim good looking HTPC that matches the rest of the stereo. SilverStone LC09 might just be the case for that machine.

It’s a MiniITX case with a DC-DC powersupply and room for a slim DVD and a PCI-card. It’s also got room for a nice and quiet 3.5″ HDD (Say, a Samsung Spinpoint P120).

However there is no active cooling provided, which could prove a problem for the HDD.
